How to Quit Smoking!

The best way to quit smoking is to put yourself in the situation when you do not have money to buy a pack of cigarettes. There are the steps that will help you to achieve it:
1. Quit your job
2. Spend your money on parties, cloths and gadgets. Leave some money for food, accommodation, phone, bills, toothpaste, shampoo, soap and toilet paper.
3. Switch your phone contract to PAY as YOU GO and spend your phone credit, so you will not be able to contact your friends, but they can call you, if they want (it will also help you to figure out who your real friends are)

Now you are ready to quit: you are left with the limited budget to survive and you don't have spare money for the cigarettes. You will redirect your thought from smoking to how to find a job and not to die from hunger! The target is achieved. Good Luck!

India could be dangerous to travel to!

I am just back from India. I spent there 10 days and visited: Delhi, Agra, Tundla, Varanasi and Goa. It was unforgettable experience. Just want to warren you that India could be dangerous for some inexperienced travellers, as you become a victim of scam. Example: taxi driver is taking you to another hotel, saying that the one you booked has bad reputation or it is closed. So, be careful and enjoy India in full, as this country has a lot to offer!

Tube's Strike - I was wrong!

Yesterday morning, there was no problem to get to work during the tube's strike, but the evening was the nightmare! I had to walk from Aldwych to Caledonian Road, as there was no buses, as well as the roads were blocked because of traffic. I made me very angry and I wanted to listen the following song:

"The London Underground Song: Amateur Transplants"

Another Tube Strike in London

Bikers Strike in London Yesterday

Yesterday, I witnessed the bikers manifestation in Milbank, London. They were driving around the circle and blocked the traffic. I was on the bus, stacked in the traffic for 10-15 min.
Apparently, the Underground workers are not the only once who are not happy. The bikers were on the strike against London Congestion Charge.

Ihateryanair.org's story of the day

"Ryanair, the World's most hated airline..." - that how the creator/editor of Ihateryanair.org site starts every single article on his site. Today his site became more famous because of the articles published in UK's papers this morning.
The editor got into a trouble because he earned £322 from the sponsored links on his site. He moved the site to the new domain (from co.uk to org) and continues attract unsatisfied customer of Ryanair.
Everybody in the world know that Ryanair is the worst airline and I believe people must know the truth about them. I believe that there is not one single person in the world who travels regularly and has nothing to say about Ryanair...

Jam From Italy by Rossi Family

Today I received a nice present from Rossi Family - two jars of jam made by Rosa Rossi. I wish to thank Signora Rossi for this gift as it is very tasty and it's one of the best jams I have ever tried.
Short history of the jam. Rossi's jam is made in a small village, north of Italy, called Carfon, closed to Belluno. The population of the village is approximately 50 people.
I also have been given a secret recipe of the jam by one of the family member who asked not to be named, which is the following:
Luigi Rossi, Rosa's husband collects fruits (Rossi family use apples, elders and plumb fro their jam) in July. Rosa Rossi wash and cut the fruits in small pieces, and puts them in a big pot with sugar (1kg of fruits and 800gr of sugar) and cooks them slowly for 3-4 hours.

London's Nightmare - London Tube Strike

If you live in London you can become a victim of tube strikes. This morning (4th of October) people were walking to work as it was impossible to get on the bus, as all of them were full and the bus drivers did not open the doors. This is a nightmare, and when this is going to stop. The employees of London Underground regularly organise this kind of event, which affect us, normal people. The people who live far from the centre managed to get to work on time, as they could get the place on the bus, the rest of us WALKED.
There are the pictures from today's morning:

Mouse in the bread - shocking news

Today, I read the shocking news on yahoo.co.uk: the father found a mouse in the bread he bought to make the sandwiches for his children. How bad this is!
The manufacture was fined! But this is not the only one story about animals or birds being baked or fried into the products we eat.
A chicken head was found in the box from KFC! ... and apparently McDonald's too...

When this zoo-kitchen will end?

Flying with Monarch Airlines

If you have never flew with Monarch Airlines and thinking of buying a ticket, I would be happy to share my experience with you.
My flight with Monarch Airlines was scheduled for Monday midnight. We boarded Airbus A340 at one o'clock in the morning. It was a big plan
e with three rows, three seats in each.
It was no much space between the seats an
d for three hours flight it's a bit uncomfortable. But if you got your full package (flight and accommodation) with Monarch it is a good deal. You can get your package for £200 - a week of get away in Europe, if you book in advance.

Yahoo.co.uk: useful information

I have email account with yahoo.co.uk and every time I need to check my emails I go through main page. Recently I start paying attention on the articles posted on the main page and I found them very interesting and useful. Especially, the ones which are related to money and food.
After reading the article "Eight ways to make money online" by John Fitzsimons, where the author advise on the ways to make money by joining surveys sites, posting your pictures or writing the reviews. I would highly recommend to read the articles.

Cycling in London

Since Barclays and London Transport introduced a new way to travel in London, I was waiting for a sunny weekend to try London Cycling. The 25th of September, Saturday was a sunny day and I went for my trial.
I bought my pass a week after the campaign was launched and did not use it for few months. The reason behind was my fear to ride with the traffic on the road. The traffic is crazy in London. I do not have driving licence and it was a challenge for me, so I was waiting for somebody else to go for a ride with me.
We went to pick up the bicycles at Kings Cross. It was very easy to to take bicycle off the station, by lifting it up and pulling back. We took small and quite street to go to Holborn and in ten minutes we packed our bicycles at the Holborn's London Cycling's station next to Nandos. We had our lunch there and took our next ride to Covent Garden and end up parting our bicycle at Trafalgar Square. We walked through Piccadilly and took our last ride for a day from Tottenham Court Road back to Kings Cross.
It was an amazing day, very exciting and I was satisfied with the experience. I would recommend to everybody to try London Cycling.
Tip for everybody: if you Londoner you can register on the official site of London Cycling, pay £3 for a key and £1 for a day ride. Remember first 30 min are free. If you are not registered you can still use your credit card and hire a bike.

Aux Champs-Elysées - Fridays Song

I feel like:

RedBull X Fighters 2010 (London)

It was the 14th of August 2010 and we went to see one of the most exiting show of the year organised by RedBull - X Fighters 2010 in London. The show was organised at Battersea Power Station and thousand of people cane to see the flying moto-bikers.
We had the sitting tickets, some people chose to stand up for four hours.
The 14th of August weekend was rainy and we were worried that show would be cancelled. But we got lucky and it was raining in the first part of the day. By the beginning of the show it was dry already. However the organisers still had some problems on the "stage". Sand was not able to dry enough and the show was delayed for sometimes.
First two x fighters tried the ground and the second one flew in to the crowed. The artist was left with a scratch, but one of the spectators from the crowed was injured.
When show started we managed to enjoy many exiting and dangerous acrobatic tricks preformed by the X-Fightors. It is a great experience for anyone who wish to see something special and unusual preformed my people.
There were many different kind of people who came to see the show: families, couples, group of friends etc. Outside of the arena the visitors could but some food and beverage as well as X-Fighters merchandise. There are some pictures from the show.

Sushi Weekend

I had a sushi weekend. We went to China Town (London). It was exciting for me, as I am following Alejandra with your Chinese adventures. Which I found great. They are interesting and useful: Alejandra and a Rising Sun of Asia.
Well, China has nothing to do with sushi, but Japan Centre at Piccadilly was closed and China Town is the best, and probably only one place in London, where you can buy all ingredients you need for making sushi on weekend.
We find all what we needed at New Loon Moon Supermarket.
To make sushi is easy, everybody should try and it is not expensive.

Check www.makemysushi.com for more information in how to prepare sushi.

Sundays - how to feel better about it!

Sunday's mornings are always sad days. They are the days before a new working week starts. How to make Sunday to be fully satisfying? How to make your self feel better and not to thing that day is short and tomorrow the hard 5 days start:

1. Choose your job wisely. Love your job. Go to job like to a celebration.
2. If your job is frighting you - make sure your Sunday is long day for you! Wake up early and plan to do a lot of things during Sunday. It will make your last day of weekend exciting and long
3. Plan weekend away. It does not have to be abroad trip! Make it short, visit the cities in the country you live, that you have never been before. It will make you remember the weekend and you will have something to tell your colleages on Monday
4. Think about next Friday evening.
5. Make plans for next weekend.
6. If you are not planing to leave the house, try to do a lot of things: lean something new for example. Make your self feel better about your self.

Good luck. I am going to Ikea...an option :)

Well done to London! We will be waiting to the feedback :)

Summer Break - it is necessary!

Summer brings us good weather, if we are lucky of course. But working during three months and hope to enjoy it - not always satisfying, unfortunately.
I realised that even having summer time outdoors will make me feel to escape the city and run away to the beach.
Currently looking for the best available summer package for the end of August. I wish it to be Greece: pool, beach and sun for the affordable price.

Did you think that heroes only fed on villains and crimes!?!

Evening with Moby!

Zorro is listening to Moby this evening. It's cool!

when my honey come back, sometimes.
I wanna rear back that, sometimes.
I get a hump in my back, sometimes.
I'm going over here, sometimes.

Way down yonder, sometimes.

Let my honey come back, sometimes.
I wanna rap thatjack, sometimes.
I get a hump in my back, sometimes.
I'm going over here, sometimes.

Sunny Morning

Sunny Morning:

"Sun is shining.
The weather is sweet yeah.
Makes you makes you wanna move your dancing feet."

It is very rare to see the sun in London!

Carcassonne - a great weekend!

A great weekend in Carcassonne: ryanair, lovely salad (tuna, leaves and tomatoes), chicken, beans, mushrooms, la cite, narrow streets, small souvenirs shops, sunny day, bar, wine rose, Irish pub...
It was a day when all flights to Spain and Portugal were cancelled. I was happy to find out that Ryan Air did not charge £1 for the loo on the plane and 1.45 hr flight was enjoyible.
In 3 hours after the plane landed I was walking on the streets of La Cite of Carcassonne: sun was shinning in my face and the tourists from all over the world were taking pictures of the mediaval town.
We stopped for a drink at Bar a Vin: a glass of local vin rose was chillied and nice. We were sitting on the terrace, enjoying sunny Saturday.
Evening was spent in Irish bar...
Thank you for a great weekend...
