Jam From Italy by Rossi Family

Today I received a nice present from Rossi Family - two jars of jam made by Rosa Rossi. I wish to thank Signora Rossi for this gift as it is very tasty and it's one of the best jams I have ever tried.
Short history of the jam. Rossi's jam is made in a small village, north of Italy, called Carfon, closed to Belluno. The population of the village is approximately 50 people.
I also have been given a secret recipe of the jam by one of the family member who asked not to be named, which is the following:
Luigi Rossi, Rosa's husband collects fruits (Rossi family use apples, elders and plumb fro their jam) in July. Rosa Rossi wash and cut the fruits in small pieces, and puts them in a big pot with sugar (1kg of fruits and 800gr of sugar) and cooks them slowly for 3-4 hours.
